  1. I am so sorry for the loss of all your work. Steve Hart told me about the museum and I can see from the website that it was a labor of love. I was panning an RV trip to see it ASAP. I think of all of the searching, negotiations, packing, hauling and skilled labor that it took to create this place. So many treasures lost. We appreciate your efforts and hope your family is ok.

  2. John and crew,
We are so very sorry to hear about the catastrophic loss of the museum, workshop and the cabin due to the Butte Fire. Words can not express our feelings of loss for your dream John. This amazing place was so full of history and enjoyment for many. We thank you so very for sharing this with us. You are in our thoughts at this time.

  3. John,

Very much enjoyed looking at your web site. I’m in the electrical construction field and did some work in the Lyons Nebraska facility in the 90’s. Am interested to know if you still own the facility?

  4. John,
What a collection! I enjoyed viewing all that you have through your web page. It has been a long time since we “worked together” helping Pac Bell move into the competitive age. Your company (Pac West) and our company benefited from our inter-relationships. I remember visiting you at your Stockton location when you had only one switch (or maybe two), and taking you and Jason out to lunch. Lots of memories…including you coming to my retirement lunch and presenting me with your CPUC book of documented issues over many years. The top and final page stated that we were “now” working together…a great tribute.

  5. I would love to find a home for my collection. Would you be interested. There is a lot more “stuff” in the garage like rolling ladder, calligraphers (SP?) and things in general Like a wood phone booth and a 3 slot AECo pay phone.
Not wishing to donate but at a reasonable price.
